Inner Demon Hot Sauce

Graphic Design packaging project for design 4. Create a label for a fictional hot sauce brand. 

BRANCHING DESIGN MARKETING

This design was selected by committee from a group of other submissions by my peers. The challenge of this project was coming up with a concept that represented both the visual theme of "Branching Design" and the conceptual theme of us as students branching out within the various fields of visual design. The image of a tree comes to mind when thinking about branching in a literal scence. As for the conceptual side, I used the text of branching design as the base or trunk of the tree because this is where we all start together with a common interest. As the branches start to stretch in different direction the text changes to different fields and interests of students within the program, such as web design, graphic design, print, typography, animation, game design, and multimedia projects.

Irazu Restaurant Menu

Student Project: This piece accompanied the fictional hotel project as a layout exercise for an in house restaurant menu. The name comes from one of Costa Rica's volcanos. 

Pura Vida Hotel Logo

Student Project: Each student was given a region of the globe to create a fictional hotel logo. I chose Costa Rica out of Central America which inspired my design.

Independent Class Project: Create illusion of paper cut out in an image. Apply to marketable object. 

Rapid Design Prototyping

Student Project: Design an animal themed logo for a fictional company of your choice along with a business card, letterhead and envelope.
